Ancient Ascendant have signed to Candlelight Records!

Ancient Ascendant will make Candlelight Records their new home. The British based band are founded from traditional Heavy Metal mixed with elements of Black and Death Metal and produce an impressive wall of sound. The band first emerged with their debut EP 'The Heathen Throne' and then continued with their great debut album 'The Grim Awakening' before they came into their own with their last release 'Into the Dark'. Ancient Ascendant have supported some of the biggest bands in their scene including 1349, Enslaved, Bolt Thrower, Rotting Christ, Fleshgod Apocalypse. Hypocrisy and Blood red Throne. 

Their last release 'Into the Dark' really shows what the band can do and it was produced by Dan Swanö  who is famous for working with some of the biggest names in the underground scene Opeth, Dissection, Dark Funeral, Bloodbath, Katatonia and Marduk. We look forward to a follow-up album in 2014 which is surely going to make the band a headline act.

Ancient Ascendant will be on tour in April supporting Pestilence across Europe.
