From ashes to New - Through it All
*****
Showing that Nu-Metal is not dead!!!
The single starts with a classical intro, before blasting into Rap and Metal in the style of Linkin Park and Hollywood Undead. The thing I notice straight away, is the production and quality of the song is simply brilliant. I do think that they sound a little too much like the two bands above, but will enhance and create their own sound in the future and I look forward to when they do.
The singing vocals are really good, with the clean vocals by Chris Musser sounding as good as Chester Bennington (Linkin Park / Stone temple Pilots), Matt Brandyberry does some killer Rap skills on the track which flow really well. The song itself is very good with catchy well put together melodies and like all good chart hits actually very short. The musicianship is brilliant, and well put across.
I think this will be a band you hear a lot more about in the future. Once they hit the music video channels, and people hear them on the radio and see them on YouTube,,, I think they will gather a loyal following with Sold Out!!! show in the US and here in the UK.
'Through it All' might not be that original, but it is that good... taking you back on a 90's Nu-Metal trip... maybe it is time for it to be back in the mainstream. This is something I would listen to and even buy, so I love it... but it is Hollywood Undead and Linkin Park in a new package. But to be honest that isn't a bad thing, have a listen and see what you think.
