Asia - Turn up the voltage with a live album!

Asia have just released 'High Voltage Live' a live CD Recorded on 24th July 2010 at the inaugural High Voltage Festival in Victoria Park, London, this live CD / DVD captures Asia in its original line-up including Steve Howe on guitar, performing classic material from the 1980’s, plus songs from the first two albums following their reunion in 2006.

The show was performed to an enthusiastic festival crowd, ready to hear the band’s eponymous debut album and the World’s biggest selling album of 1982 performed in its entirety for the first time in Europe. In fact this remains the only video documentation of the original line-up performing the debut album in full.

This live CD and DVD is an irreplaceable companion to the original studio album and the reunion that saw the original members of Asia return to and remain at the top of their game, in front of a ‘home audience’. In related news the band have also announced a World tour in support of their current studio album ‘Gravitas’ released in 2014. UK dates take place between 28th October and 2nd November.
