The Beatles - Paul McCartney to play US show with Ringo Starr!

Two of the Fab Four will play live together!

Yes it's true the event that Beatles fans have been waiting for years for and it's finally happening. Yes the two surviving members of The Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will perform together on the same stage once again. Their has been rumours for weeks about this event happening and the two singers will get back together again for a performance at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday the 26th of January. They will also record a one off special show at the Ed Sullivan theatre the following day. It has been a massive fifty years since the British group made their legendary debut appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, so what better way to mark the occasion than this special concert in the place it all happened. This is a show that tickets will be like gold dust for and a once in the lifetime chance for any Beatles fan to see them on the same stage together.

The very special show will be called 'The Night that change America: A Grammy's salute to The Beatles' and will be broadcasted on TV on January the 9th and will also feature John Mayer and the Eurythmics. Also the duo will be performing at the music awards ceremony where on Sunday night they will be honoured with an amazing award the 'Recording Academy lifetime achievement Award', which they really do deserve after fifty years in the business. If this isn't enough for Beatles fans Paul is nominated for two more awards the 'Best music Film' for 'Live Kisses' and 'Best Rock Song' for ''Cut me some Slack' which he recorded with Foo Fighters guitarist and frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
