Breaking Bands Festival - Has Tygers of Pan Tang and The Injester this year!!!

May 26th - 29th 2023
Festival, UK

Breaking Bands Festival starts this friday!!!

The eighth Breaking Bands festival is taking place at their spiritual home of live music, the Stoke Prior Sports and Country Club, Bromsgrove just a twenty minute drive from Birmingham and Worcester. This year the festival format changes once again and returns to the traditional three days of live music that was seen back in 2019 before the pandemic put a halt to things. As always, there is a free warm up party night for weekend ticket holders with a quiz, lots of fun and games and a Rock Disco to get everyone prepared for the weekend. This years main stage headliners are Sellsword (Friday), Tygers of Pan Tang (Saturday) and Daxx & Roxane (Sunday), take to the stage over the weekend.

And the event will take place Friday May the 26th to Sunday May the 29th, 2023 with the bands being back to back from 11am until 11.15pm with ten minute gaps and a change of stage between them. Kicking off each day with local acoustic acts then the Marquee and Venue stages will open for full on electric bands throughout. The special guest band this year is the very awesome Tygers of Pan Tang whose music career spans an amazing forty years plus. The band will be on the Marquee stage Saturday night. Sunday night closing the festival will be the award nominees Blue Nation who were the voted back band by the fans that saw them perform at the festival in 2022.

With music spanning across Rock, Punk, Metal, Blues, Ska, Grunge, Indie, Industrial, Funk, AOR and new wave of British Heavy Metal there really will be something to suit all tastes and of course the opportunity to discover your new favourite band. Our stage comperes this year are the one and only Mr Badaxe making his return to the festival and Rock 'n' Roll funny man Pete K Mally making his second appearance at the event but first time as a stage host. Acts over the weekend that Music Trespass Magazine would recommend you catching include Metal Clowns The Injester, the brilliant and intense Primitai and the Groove Metal upcoming band Imperium. These are all bands we have covered, and have really loved.
