Breed 77 - Headline the Fox to make up for Alt-Fest!!!

Breed 77 ***** An amazing concert by the Gibraltar / London band!. The band starts just after Beholder left the stage to make all the Intrepid Fox a whole mosh pit. In an already overcrowded new venue, recently relocated in Archway, Breed 77 unique style went down very well and it was just like a spark in the gasoline when they kick in with the first song 'Individuo' and the crowd seems already to know what to expect from this awesome band. So it takes less than a blink of an eye to see everyone jumping in time with the music and Paul, the front man, has the crowd that thanks to a great opening of Beholder put already everyone in the right mood showing it was the right bill for the night! 

Breed 77 continue with Calling out and Matter of time and the crowd is just going mental. Until you arrive to the classic Breed 77 touch and what they are known for, mixing heavy...and I mean heavy! music with the touch of classic nylon guitar. With 'Worlds on Fire' you know you are in the right place here. Atmosphere is hot, music is sublime and vocal on top is thoroughly engaging. The set goes on and includes a couple of well made covers in the shape of The Cranberries' 'Zombie' and Queen's 'We will Rock You' although this one in a much heavier and personal interpretation which I thought fitted very well. 

Then the singer talked in a very touching way on how media is misused while it should have the power of spreading information and therefore there shouldn't be more wars, and then he's screaming something like "what's wrong in these minds?" in this moment we going towards the 'La ultima Hora' where the place becomes like a swarm of mad locusts! Congratulations to these guys as they are really standing out in a moment when all the alternative music needs it. Breed 77 are a live band that I enjoy and I think you really want to check out!
