Brice and Farmer - Are a nice introduction!

A nice beginning to a fantastic Evening!
Brice and Farmer ***1/2 are a nice soft start to a great evening in Reading, The duo consisting of Sebastian Brice and Natalie Farmer. The two some have been touring with Folk / Country mastermind Roddy Woomble. This duo have a lot to offer sounding a little like Duke Special in places. They even guested on Roddy Woomble's new album 'Listen to Keep' on a track called 'Build it to Break'.

They have some beautiful songs from 'Raven' which can be heard in the video at the bottom of this piece, This is a song that shows true songwriting talent with just voice, acoustic guitar and piano, their are no gimmicks with these two just beautiful songs. This is continued with the song 'Inconsistances' which they explain all about before producing another song that pulls at your heart strings.

The highlight of their set was when they performed a great cover of Roddy Woomble's band Idlewild hit song 'American English' which was the only Idlewild song heard tonight with Roddy choosing to leave them out of his set later in the evening. I would advise you listen to Brice and Farmer while you sit back and read a book. A nice beginning to a fantastic evening.
