Bruno Mars - Rocks the 2014 Super Bowl final!

Bruno Mars gives us a half time show to never forget!

Bruno Mars wow's audiences with his spectacular Super Bowl XLVIII half time show, where he is even joined by the Rock band the Red hot chili Peppers for a rendition of their 1991 single 'Give it Away'. Bruno fans were delighted by renditions of his songs 'Locked out of Heaven, Treasure' and 'Just the way you Are'. Bruno Mars follows in the foot steps of U2, Prince, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Aerosmith, Beyonce and Janet Jackson who have all performed at the half time mark of the American Football Super Bowl.

What everyone is talking about is what happened at half time of the American football Super Bowl in New Jersey. Well Bruno Mars is this years performer and he starts of his set with a massive drum solo which is absolutely fantastic and really shows the versatility of Bruno as an artist. You just wonder why someone so young has got such a big talent and can do some many things so well. The drum kit is taken back while he is playing it from the middle of the pitch to the main stage while the audience is surrounding the stage which was an empty pitch full of football players a couple of minutes previous.

When he get's back to the stage he is joined by his band for great and funky versions of his songs 'Locked out of Heaven' and 'Treasure' all dressed in golden Motown Esq. suits. He really works the stage and it is almost like going back in time to a classic performance by an act like James Brown or even the Jackson 5. The stage is a barrage of Trumpets and Trombones and quick feet and smiles and the audience seem to jump to every note like I have never seen before. The lights are bright and these songs are just overwhelming treasure of magnificent delight.

He is then joined by the Red hot chili Peppers for a version of their song 'Give it Away', Anthony Kiedis is sporting a designer mustache and is a little more subdued than he normally is but still put's on a good show. Bass player Flea works really well with Bruno looking like they have played for years on stage together. The song goes by quickly but that might be because we have all heard it a million times before. It might not be the best onstage collaboration I have ever seen at the Super Bowl but it is very good, and they both work really well together and the song sounds like a track that Bruno Mars could put a good spin on if he covered it himself.

When he sings the Grammy award winning 'Just the way you Are' from the Centre point of the pitch, you can see why he has picked this for the climax! it has such emotion and is really heartfelt and you really feel the song like he was singing it for you or about you. It is really special and really makes the half time show something to be talked about. This was a performance by an artist that is going to be one of the greats, I think you will see him up their with Prince, Usher, Ne-Yo and Michael Jackson in the coming years.
