Everyone has fallen in love with Conchita Wurst!!!

Conchita wins the Eurovision Song Contest and here at Music Trespass we are so glad, when we heard the song 'Rise like a Pheonix' we instantly fell in love with it. Conchita won for Austria in a nail biting finish against the Netherlands who were in hot pursuit all the way. 'Rise like a Pheonix' has a real James Bond / Classical feel to it, while at the same time verging on the gay anthems of the nights by diva's all around the World. The singer whose real name is Tom Neuwirth got a massive 290 points fending off The Netherlands who finished on 238 points and Sweden who came in third place with 218 points. The United Kingdom's entry Molly only got 40 points and came in 17th place with her song 'Children of the Universe'. As Conchita went up to sing her final performance as the winning song she said.

"This night is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom. You know who you are, We are unity and we are unstoppable." - Conchita Wurst

This is a sentance that will be in my head for years to come and it's nice to see someone so caring and nice in this World and I am surely going to follow her carrier throughout the rest of my life. An amazing artist is born!!! and Eurovision was her birth!

Austria had been second favourites to win the contest behind Sweden, with the bookies thinking that Conchita Wurst could be way too divisive among voters. It's nice to see that the World is start to accept all different kind of people and actually voting for the best song whichever one it is. Conchita first tried for Eurovision glory back in 2012 when she got 2nd place in the qualifiers for the competition with a song called 'That's what I Am', but it shows if you first don't succeed try and try again and in the end you will get what you deserve.

Conchita's win shows that it doesn't matter how you look or who you want to be you can succeed if you put your mind to it, and for someone that suffer themselves from Body Dysmorphia themselves I think this is a great message and I am so glad she has won. 'Rise like a Pheonix' was clearly the best song and the way Conchita sang it was breathe taking and really touched at the heart strings of us all.
