Crooked Teeth - Honey
*****
Beautiful inside and out!!!
Crooked Teeth are modern... so modern that if you turned on the T.V. you would see a topic they sing about immediately, so they are a band that keep to what is current. The question is... where does the wisdom of the lyrics come from?, we will most likely never know but we can all grab a piece of the reality which is the topics they sing about on this release.
Topics like... feeling alone, feeling lost, feeling like your an outsider, they bring us all together in their sonic capabilities. Love is the biggest takeaway from this single, and we can really feel the emotion that they have put into it. You feel the honest truth on this record, and that's a rare thing in 2018. In the age of commercialized garbage that sells, this is the farthest thing from the truth.
Listen! to the title Track 'Honey' Below...
Bonnie Frasier, the lead singer of Crooked Teeth moves beyond the simple feelings of being alone, and builds on the fact we can and will move past it. The track makes you feel on a level you havent felt since High School, if you even felt it at all. Bonnie Frasier is hot... vocally, visually and emotionally. This band would behoove itself by making the frontman even more present.
He has a social charm that hasnt been seen since the initial viewing of Kurt Cobain on the tele. Im hooked, you'll be hooked. Let's all get hooked Crooked Teeth. They bring us all together in their sonic capabilities... love is the biggest takeaway from this EP. 'Honey' the title song from the EP is as different as it is the same. Which isn't a bad thing, it's actually an incredibly rare feat. The future is now, so let the now... embrace you.
