Dan Lancaster - Takes Prague by surprise

Dan Lancaster**** is a self taught, two time Grammy Awards nominated music producer / mixer / writer/ artist from UK, singed under 'Coda Agency' and 'Raw Kingdom' management. Dan Lancaster has also been nominated as Producer of the Year 'at th'e 2017 and 2018 Heavy Metal Awards. Dan Lancaster has had so far multiple platinum and gold albums, and has toped No.1 charts in the UK, USA, Canada and Japan.  Currently writing / mixing and producing music for bands such as One ok Rock, Don Broco, Crossfaith, Fickle Friends, Dir En Grey, Good Charlote and many more.

Dan's work can also be found in songs by Avril Lavigne, Lower than Atlantis, Blink 182, Bring me the Horizon, 5 Seconds of Summer. As we speak, Dan can be found touring across Europe, as opener for One ok Rock's 'Eye Of The Storm' tour, in countries as Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Poland, Italy, France, Chech Republic, Hungary and Switzerland. Dan has also just recently toured across UK with Lower than Atlantis. If you have the chance to see at least one of his live show, do not lose it!! His performance from last night's show in Prague was just amazing, full of energy and good interaction with the crowd. 

Usually when an artist has to open a show, it can be quite a tricky task, some could find it difficult to get the crowd warmed up...but that wasn't the case for Dan Lacaster. Non-stop moving on stage,constantly changing betwen instruments and hifiving fans in the front rows...as much as space allowed, as the stage had quite an unique round shape. The setlist included unreleased songs as well as his first single 'Move a mountain', consisting of around seven songs.

Dan's music can be easily described as very catchy, once you hear a song you just can't stop thinking about it...which, to be fair it's always a good sign.Dan Lancaster's next headliner show will be in London on the 18th November, being his second headlining in London as per 2019. Another thing worth mentioning is Dan's sudden appearance on stage during One ok Rock's performance of 'Taking Off' ..song which was produced,co-wrote,mixed and programmed by Dan himself (even helped on backing vocals) Talking of which, 'Taking Off' marked Dan Lancaster's first No.1 Single in Japan. 

The show was a success with Dan officially stating that on his Instagram posts, which includes a short video of the show. As a personal opinion, if I may.. The venue laked in managing the space allowance for both artists on stage and photographers / videographers in the photopit area.There was no space to move in the photopit with the barrier being right up to the stage, with just enough space to walk sideways, making it almost impossible not to bump into other photographers or even into the artists themselfs. Security wan't very receptive to requests either!
