Engel are back with new album 'Raven Kings' !!!

Engel are back with their fourth album 'Raven Kings', due to be released on December 1st 2014 through Gain Music. The album is produced by the bands founder and songwriter Niclas Engelin from In Flames and is mixed by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat). Engel emerged on to the World stage with the release of the critically acclaimed debut album 'Absolute Design' in 2007. Confronted with high expectations and certainly a force to be reckoned with in their own right, Engel have established themselves as one of the most stylish and impressive acts of their genre.

Now it’s time to unleash the true potential of this Swedish group and with the soon to be released 'Raven Kings'. ‘Salvation’ opens the album with ferocity leading on to ‘Denial’ and it’s nu-school take on Thrash echoing the influences of bands like Exodus and Death Angel. ‘I am the Answer’ takes the album to a darker harrowing acoustic place, as a breather before being thrown into more crushing and powerful riffs in ‘When the Earth Burns’, that is equal in brutality to the likes of Meshuggah.
