Invading the UK in their way!

Joe Denby catches up with Evil Invader's bassist Nicko and drummer Senne backstage at the Underworld during their tour opening for Destruction. We talk about the bands history, Iron Maiden and Belgian beer!

Music Trespass: How are you today?

Senne: Very Good.

Music Trespass: How was the show for you guys tonight?

Nicko: It was great. We didn't know what to expect because it was our first time in London. We're the opener of the total of four bands but as soon as we hit the stage there was already a lot of people. They responded great.

Music Trespass: Hows the rest of the tour been?

Senne: Very good!

Nicko: The guys from Destruction and Lost Society are really cool Dudes. Destruction are legends in the Thrash Metal scene. We were anxious but they are very friendly. Lost Society are great guys, they are young and have this fantastic energy. I don't know were they get it from!

Music Trespass: Let's talk about your self titled EP.

Nicko: The EP was released in 2013 it was very D.I.Y we only recorded the drums in the studio the guitars we actually recorded at home.

Senne: It actually sounds really good, exactly how we wanted to sound.

Music Trespass: Lets go into the history of the band.

Nicko: The band formed in 2009, I'm not sure because I wasn't in the band at the beginning.

Senne: Joe Anus our singer is the only original member.

Nicko: There were alot of changes but we have a steady line up now. We all get on and we are all on the same page.

Music Trespass: You have your debut full length album on it's way any details with that?

Nicko: We started recording two month's ago. The vocal's are being recorded at the end of this tour. Hopefully the mix will be finished in November It is looking to be released in February. It's a bit more mature compared to the EP especially a far as the lyrics go. We tried to experiment on some songs. Some are longer with lots of riffs but also we get to the point. It's gonna be great so get ready!.

Music Trespass: I was talking to your singer earlier about Belgian Beer's. What Belgian Beer's do you recommend? My favorite is Grimbergen.

Senne: That's my favorite too!

Nicko: Westmalle triple or double, their really strong. Also if you have a girl who doesn't drink a lot of beer get her to try Kasteel red it taste like cherry and it's really sweet but it's like 12% so two of those and shes done!
