Jembaa Groove - Will play the Forge in London
See some great World music in London
Jembaa Groove was formed in 2020 by band leaders Eric Owusu and Yannick Nolting. Eric Owusu had worked with Ebo Taylor, Pat Thomas and Orlando Julius previously and Jembaa Groove quickly became a melting pot of music from West African Highlife to American Soul, Jazz and Blues.
The debut album 'Susuma' (Agogo Records) came out in 2021 to widespread acclaim with latest single 'Sweet my Ear', a collaboration with K.O.G. (You can listen and see the vide for the song at the bottom of the page). The band are coming to the London, Forge, UK on Sunday, November the 12th. This will be a great evening of World music, in a great venue so don't miss it.
