Working her way up the musical ladder!!!

In the centre of England, Derby hosted its second TK Maxx - Summer Sessions Festival on the weekend of the 12th – 14th of July. It ran Friday to Sunday with Sunday having the times rescheduled as revellers (and acts) were clearly going to be torn between music and football. The venue for the festival is under the big top in Markeaton Park, which really made a great venue for a selection of the charts biggest acts.

Kezia Gill *** started by winning over the locals with stories of how she used to visit the park as a youngster, before the strikingly stunning looking local got peoples feet tapping with her Country Music, if you don’t think you like Country Music give 'Misfit' a listen, you’ll be surprised. Because modern Country Music is very different now, verging on Pop or Rock on time. And with acts like Taylor Swift, who started off very Country. I think a new audience is discovering it, you can also see this with the C2C (Coutry to Country) festival selling out every year.

But I think people in the UK don't realise Country music never went away in America, and too this day is the music that sells the most copies.Because of two of the titles to her songs, you may
think is she working for the whiskey marketing board (or maybe it’s just a Country thing), because she also treated the crowd to 'Whiskey drinking Woman' and 'Whiskey over Ice'.

She also does a cover of the Irish song 'Tennesse Whiskey', which I can't remember if she played. So if Kezia Gill get's your feet tapping, and you like a drink.(because she does talk about Whiskey alot). Then why not get yourself to one of her shows, and go straight to the bar.
