Lawson - Show they are more than just another boy band

The girls love Lawson and now we do to!

Lawson **** (Pleasant Valley Stage) London pretty boys that have been making waves in the Pop music charts have an army of girl followers packed up the front of the stage singing every word and screaming. This band have gone a long way since they were first playing in a pub recording their own material. and now Lawson are really on a high after having hits with 'Learn to love Again, Standing in the Dark' and new song 'Brokenhearted' which features B.o.B, which is an instant fan favourite.

The thing about Lawson that a lot of Pop bands don't have is they play all their own instruments and write their own songs and their song writing is of a very high standard and singer Andy Brown pulls the songs off well live as well as they do on recordings. All four members know how to play really well and each of them helps out with backing vocals, so it makes the band sound even stronger.

Most Pop bands don’t have longevity, but I can see Lawson still being around in years to come because they also cross boundaries and would still be quite at home on other more Alternative line up’s like the Reading / Leeds festival the V Festival because they are commercial but have a slightly less mainstream vibe. It's nice to see a different breed of Pop act and I think this formula is going to be followed by more in the future.

If you have not got their album ‘Chapman Square’ I advise you to grab a copy because I can’t stop playing it, It has so many great songs on it and nearly every song on it could be a possible single.
