Great new hopefulls, Impress supporting Gary Numan!

Losers **** have got the great honour of supporting Gary Numan today because he is a legend in the Electronic / Alternative World. Other bands such as Jayce Lewis and The Killers have gone on to great things after they have played with the great man and the feeling I had about Losers is that they will go on to do the same. I love the bands that the members of Losers have come from because they are a supergroup containing Tom Bellamy (Ex-Cooper temple Clause), Paul Mullen (Ex-YourcodeNameIs:Milo / Young Legionnaire), Mark Heron (Ex-OceansizeKong) and Eddy TM. The band open up the set with the furious 'Acrobatica' which has hints of Cooper temple Clause to it and some of the guitar work by Muse and LostAlone

They continue on with 'Us vs Night' and 'Think You' which get the set going nicely but it's when Singer Tom Bellamy puts a towel over his head as he sings the great song 'The Chain' which has a great vibe and feel to it and really stands out in the bands set. This is a song that you could play over and over again in your room. They break into track 'Turn Around' which is one of the bands slower tracks and has a nice piano vibe to it before it picks up with a nice groove and then get's chaotic like it's turning into a wall of sound.

They end the set with the song 'Azan' which has a haunting intro and a middle Eastern feel to it, makes me feel like I am walking across a desert with no water to drink. This song is very atmospheric and really sets a good scene and it also has a hint of later Gary Numan works to it. This song is a really good way to put their set to an end and really picks up near the end of it. It has a killer Industrial riff to it which merges in with the keyboards and makes you think of artists like Tim Skold and bands like Sulpher and Jayce Lewis.
