Lucy Spraggan - Has gone a long way since the X Factor!

Lucy brings some light over why people like her!

Lucy Spaggan *** (Songbird Stage) who left the X-Factor in suspicious circumstances. She has been doing very well since her exit with a sold out UK tour and a lot of interest in the media. She has got massive YouTube hits on her songs ‘Tea and Toast’ and ‘Beer Fear’ but today at the Cornbury Festival she is showcasing material off her yet to be titled debut album. 

New single 'Lighthouse' is a nice acoustic number and it does show Lucy in a new light, less annoying than when she was on the X Factor and nice to see with a band behind her. The material is really well written and she does cross a few genres but it’s nothing that I personally rave about, but she is selling out venues all round the country so she must be doing something right.

Her Cornbury set is short and sweet and their is a lot of signs in the crowd saying I <3 Lucy which is really nice and she seems to be a lot happier now than she seemed when I saw her just after her X Factor days, so it's nice to see her in a good place.
