Iconic singer is coming to London

Mavis Staples is a Blues / Soul legend, she is even in the Rock and Roll - Hall of Famer. Not to mention a civil rights icon, and Grammy Award winner. She has also topped the charts in loads of different genres Soul / Gospel / R&B and is a National Arts Awards Lifetime Achievement recipient; and a Kennedy Center honoree.

She has just announced two very special shows at Union Chapel, an iconic beautiful venue in London. This is a great location to really do justice to her voice, and the music she sings. This will be the first time she has hit the venue since her amazing performance at the Innervisions festival in 2018, which is a concert that has gone down in history. 

Mavis Staples has has a very interesting and wonderful life, she marched with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., performed at John F. Kennedy’s inauguration, and sang in Barack Obama’s White House. She’s collaborated with everyone from Prince and Bob Dylan to Arcade Fire and Hozier.
