Neon Trees - Charts really high in the charts!!!
Neon Trees debuts at No.6 six in the Billboard two hundred chart!
'Pop Psychology' is the new album from multi platinum group Neon Trees, debuts at No.6 on the US Billboard two hundred, marking the band's highest charting album to date. They reached No.1 on the iTunes "Alternative Album" chart and top five in the overall iTunes album chart. The UK release of 'Pop Psychology' will be available in the UK on the 14th of July 2014 through Virgin.
On their third album 'Pop Psychology' songs like 'Love In the 21st Century, Text me in the Morning, I Love You, But I hate your Friends' and the first single 'Sleeping with a Friend' capture the millennial concerns referenced in the titles and deliver them in impeccably shiny sonic packages, thanks to the band's performances and production by Glenn's long time friend and songwriting collaborator Tim Pagnotta. Style wise Glenn feels that 'Pop Psychology' blends sounds from the quartet's previous two albums, 2010's guitar Pop driven 'Habits' and 2012's Electro fueled New Wave inspired 'Picture Show'.
"I think this is the first record where we combine both and really sound like Neon Trees throughout the entire album," - Tyler Glenn (Neon Trees)
Neon Trees rose to fame in 2008 when they supported fellow Utah band The Killers and released their debut album 'Habits' featuring platinum selling single 'Animal', peaking at No.1 on Billboard's Alternative songs chart and No.2 on the Rock songs chart. 'Animal' was also featured on 'Glee' and currently has over twenty million views on YouTube.
Neon Trees' second album 'Picture Show' which debuted at No.17 on the Billboard two hundred album chart, featured the platinum selling top ten single 'Everybody Talks'. They have toured with Duran Duran, 30 Seconds to Mars, Panic! at the Disco and My chemical Romance.
