New Power Generation - Tomorrow play a very special show in London

"Celebrating Prince" The New Power Generation tomorrow will bring their live experience to the London, Shepherds Bush, o2 Empire for one night only, and you could be there so get your tickets now and don't miss Saturday's most exciting show.

The band will play all your favourite Prince songs, from a back catelog that is so large... that there is a hidden vault to keep it in. If this was not enough the band will be joined by former Color me Badd singer Martin Kember.

Years of touring, recording, rehearsing, playing and performing with Prince helped to shape New Power Generation.  Few other artists are known to have the work ethic that was a defining characteristic of Prince. Respecting the music is the philosophical approach that continues to guide the NPG today. 

The NPG’s “Celebrating Prince” shows have been described as a “non-stop musical kaleidoscope of the most iconic chart-topping hits from all eras of Prince’s illustrious four decade career,” and the band plays as if their famous boss was still front and centre. Lead singer MacKenzie has been called a “discovery of note” and has overwhelmingly won over both fans and critics alike. MacKenzie is joined on lead vocals by rapper Tony M, who Prince featured on early Prince and the New Power Generation releases

Prince was a consummate live performer and his concerts with the NPG were legendary for the tight arrangements, stellar sound and electrifying pace. And the NPG continue to play as if their infamous boss was front and centre. 

Keyboardist Morris Hayes was in the NPG for more than twenty years and served as Prince’s Musical Director for much of that time, put the band back together for the official Prince tribute concert in October 2016. Since then, the show has been going from strength to strength.... with people enjoying it all around the World.

"Celebrating Prince" is a non stop musical kaleidoscope of the most iconic chart topping hits from all eras of Prince's musical back catalogue.  Classic NPG songs like 'Diamonds and Pearls, Gett Off!!!, Cream, 7' and 'Sexy MF' are intermingled with songs from throughout Prince's illustrious four decade long career like '1999, Let's go Crazy, Pop Life, Sign O' the Times, Purple Rain, U got the Look' and 'Kiss'.  All Prince music performed by the very musicians who played, toured, recorded and wrote with him for years.
