Nolen Sellwood - Eighteen year old to release 'Otherwise' studio album

Sensational young teenager to release debut album

Nolen Sellwood is a reasonably scruffy eighteen year old appeared in producer, John Wright's studio in early 2021. When recording the album that will be released on February 3rd, 2023 via New Folk Records, didn't even have a case for the guitars he was carrying. When the initial meeting was arranged, it was so he could present his songs and vision as he wanted to. With the vision to make a short "Indie" album, and he did just that.

The nervous young man played one song, and then continued to play more of his original tunes at Wright's urging. It was apparent that a short "Indie" album would be a full compilation of his works. This was not usual for an eighteen year old man, who wanted to record with an acoustic guitar and lyrics. Wright was amazed to learn that Nick Drake was one of Nolen’s main music influencers.
