In the sun soaked beaches of Southwest Florida, an Indie Rock idea was born, and it found its inspiration in the emotionally charged melodies of bands like Crooked Fingers and The National. This is where the enigmatic and soul-stirring band came to be: Puppets for Poets, a name born after the recording of the first single 'Garden'. Puppets for Poets is more than just a band; it's an Indie Rock concept where all instruments are played by a mysterious multi-instrumentalist.

The endeavor and musical direction was inspired to come to life by producer friend Rich Jacques. Rich, recognizing the potential in this unique project, encouraged Puppets for Poets to expand their sound by stripping it of certain elements allowing more space for the melody to express itself. Inspired by studies into consciousness, and non-duality, Puppets for Poets' music became a fusion of melancholic beauty, haunting melodies, and introspective ideas that invite listeners to find comfort in the band’s relatable lyrics and sonic adventures.
