Rude Audio - Rude Redux

Being taken back to a 90's soundscape atmosphere

Rude Audio are a DJ / Production collective who range in age from nineteen to their fifties. Their origins are rooted in the gutters of south and north east, where I think their underground parties would go down well. Rude Aude are critically acclaimed in the Electronic music gene, and our engineered for top artists. Rude Audio is a name to write down and check out, because they will be producing great Electronic music for years to come.

Being a keyboard player and being in an Industrial / Electronic band, I have always loved bleepy Electronica and Rude Audio is just that. First track 'Into the Sun' might be a bit simplistic, but that never hurt Kraftwerks did it. This track has a nice chilled 80's / 90's Dance vibe to it, and it is quite nice to chill and do work to. If you are a fan of experimental Leftfield type Dance you will love the second slice on the EP 'To the half Moon', which is a Soundscape of Electro House Dance... that will take you on an Instrumental voyage to a different land.

With a lot of Rude Audio inspiration being taken from Eastern influences, you get images of The Shamen's 'Axis Mutatis' mixed with a more chilled Electronic Leftfield sound. Maybe listen to 'Lightspan Soundwave' of the Shamen's album 'En-Tact' if you like this, because I think you will love it. This EP will be the soundtrack to your late night come down from a crazy evening, or a relaxing sleepless state on a long evening. By the time you get to the third slice on the record 'Rumble on Arab St.' you have got into Rude Audio's sound, which in some places reminds me of some moments from Add N to (X).

'Pipeline Screaming' has elements of Dub and Arab House in it, and is the last different track on the record. Before the Rich Lane remix of the second track on the EP 'To the half Moon', which is well worth the wait. 'Pipeline Screaming' is a nice track of Instrumental Dub, but I do think they could have gone to more places with it, and some of the ideas are too similar to tracks previous. But as I am saying this the track branches out more, and makes me change my mind totally... so I think it's a piece of music you have to bare with.

I have to say the Rich Lane remix of 'To the half Moon'. is the gem on this release... so well worth listening to the end. It sounds like it's taken from a creepy 80's BBC detective programme (Maybe the new Sherlock Holmes), and I love it... a piece of Electronic genius. I have to say I think they should release the Rich Lane remix on 12 inch vinyl because it would be a big hit with DJ's round the World, but I think this experienced DJ collective already know this.
