Salad - are back back back! and this time 'Undressed'

You may have heard that lovely Salad are back... back... back! -  Also known as Salad Undressed which is Marijne and Paul, stripping back their favourite Salad songs live and adding new zest. They are recording an album of new material, 'Good Love, Bad Love' , which they are putting out through Pledge. Just to refresh your memories, vocalist Marijne came to be known first in the early 90's as an MTV "VJ" while simultaneously cutting her teeth on her band Salad with Co-Writer / Guitarist Paul, until they got a deal with Island Records and eventually burst onto the Indie Pop scene in 1993 and burned brightly for five years.

They toured with Blur (amongst others), hence getting their association with ‘Brit Pop’. Salad notched up a hit album 'Drink Me' in 1995, featuring the ace singles 'Drink the Elixir' and 'Motorbike to Heaven'. In Oct 1998 they went into a state of dormancy.

Summer 2016 saw Marijne and Paul re emerge as the semi acoustic two piece Salad - Undressed playing Salad classics and obscurities. 2017 sees them booked right through to the end of the year, recording a Salad 'Undressed' album called 'Good Love, Bad Love' , with the aforementioned PledgeMusic campaign already up and running.
