Semargl - Credo Revolution (Zardonic Remix)

(Digital Single Review)

****

Zardonic is unique and I actually really like this remix!

Let me start by saying this. I'm not saying anything bad about Zardonic, its just usually I’m not really the sort to listen to Dub Step and remixes, just because a lot of them sound rather fake and end up disappointing me. So when my editor said you have to hear this remix I wasn't expecting much from it.  When I first listened to the track I have to admit I was proved wrong because it's a really stand out remix that you can imagine hearing in a club and dancing to it.

The track was mixed really well, having quite a pendulum sound, uses a solid grip on the original riff and female vocal, but speeds them up, which works better than the original in my opinion. Also the use of the original vocals, only coming in every so often with little spurts works well, not to overwhelming compared to what I’ve seen in other mixes by other people. This is a track that would be loved by people into Dance and Metal because the way it bridges it with Electronica beats is just superb, this is a must for both fans of Skrillex and the Aphex Twin but also for fans of Slipknot or Static-X.

Overall the mix is really good, and I preferred it over the original. It was tidy, smooth flowing and didn’t drag on. This is a pretty decent mix that I will listen to in the future and would love to see live so I suggest you download it. Or if you don't want to do that you can watch the video for the song below.
