Skeletonwitch breath fire but fail to ignite London

Tonight's show is a bit of an awkward one. Following a scorching set from Goatwhore, Skeletonwitch  take to the stage blasting into 'I am of Death' everything is in it's place but it's not quite right. Weeks before this current tour it came out that Skeletonwitch's frontman Chance Garnette was no longer in the band and is in rehab the band started apparently doing instrumental sets but have now at very short notice Keith Lemon has jumped in to do vocal duties. (Opps! sorry, that's Andy Horn from Cannabis Corpse!) 

Whoever decides to step into Chance's shoes is a brave man and deserves the respect due don't get me wrong! Chance Garnette has such a distinctive presence on stage it's not like you can slip in unnoticed and it's not like Andy Horn can't hold his own on stage and take into account the band are firing on all cylinder's and above all the crowd are having a great time! It still doesn't change the fact that it still feels half of what it could have been. The band are making the best of a bad situation and all due respect to them. Lets hope they get a permanent replacement or sort things out with Chance, either way I hope the band get back on track.
