Sophie is living the dream!

'Runaway Dreamer' is Sophie Ellis-Bextor's second single from recent album 'Wanderlust' and it is a piece of Pop perfection. She has come a long way from when I first saw her playing with her band The Audience. The song floats along much like, well a dream with her vocal performance really giving the track that X-Factor to make it stand out. A well crafted piece about wanting to run away from things and  see what is out there, albeit it only being a dream world, I am sure most people have had similar thoughts at some point. 

She maybe more known these days as a dancer since her performance on 'Strictly come Dancing' but this certainly shows music is her best calling and luckily as she says in the song she is 'here to stay' In early April she is taking this album on the road and I suggest you get along to see her if you can, as well as making great recorded music she also puts on a good show.
