Exciting Electronica Avant-Garde artist hits the road

Earlier this month Electonic / Avant-Garde Singer / Instrumentalist Westerman announced details of his 'Ark' EP and previewed a track from it 'Albatross'. Directed by Emilie Norenberg, the video is set at night in the curious setting of Margates Powell Cotton Museum where it finds Westerman alone among a multitude of stuffed animals. The dynamic suddenly changes when one of the animals springs into life.

'Ark' EP was written in between a lot of travelling and recorded over an intense three day period with little sleep or contact with anyone. With minor re-drafting and editing the result is something looser than previous singles ‘Confirmation, Edison’ and ‘Easy Money’ and debut EP 'Call and Response'.

Westerman sets off on his UK tour this week starting with Oxford today and ending with his largest headline show to date at London’s Oslo (SOLD OUT!!!) on the 18th, before heading to Europe and the US. 'Ark' EP is out on the 9th of November on Blue Flowers and ‘Albatross’ is out now.
