Self-Titled debut ‘Wolfmother' celebrate it's 10th anniversary!!!
Universal Music Catelogue will mark the milestone in Wolfmother’s career by releasing the band’s self-titled debut album, which first came out in 2005 via Universal Music Australia / Modular, featuring classic songs like the Worldwide radio smash ‘Woman' (Earning "Best Hard Rock Performance" at the 2007 Grammy's) and the Rock radio mainstays 'Joker and the Thief' and 'White Unicorn'. "Wolfmother: 10th Anniversary" will be available both as a deluxe two CD physical release and digitally on September 25th, and for the first time - a two LP vinyl set, on October 30th, with the original cover artwork by Frank Frazetta.
The first album was recorded at Sound City (The Drums), Pass Studios in Burbank (Bass, Guitars and some Vocals) and Sound Factory. ‘Wolfmother' went on to win "Best Breakthrough Album" and "Best Rock Album", while the band took home "Best Group at the 2006 Australian ARIA Music Awards, with “Woman” taking home Best Hard Rock Performance at the 2007 Grammy’s.
The band and the album were critically acclaimed and compared it to the likes of Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Blue Cheer. The band followed up 'Wolfmother' with 2009’s 'Cosmic Egg' and last year’s New Crown. Wolfmother have just finished recording their fourth studio album with producer Brendan O’Brien which will be released in early 2016.
