Re-Armed - Release brand new album!

Re-Armed release new album on April 14th !!!

Re-Armed formed in 2001 when five Finns decided to have fun making music influenced by the so called "Göthenborg Metal" scene. Although their music has evolved over the years and several line-up changes, they still think of themselves as an Extreme Metal band, albeit one that isn’t afraid to incorporate some melody into a sound palette that combines technical, groove death metal with thrash and grind influences.

Releasing their debut album ‘Worldwide Hypnotize’, a full decade after forming Massacre Records, January 2012, Re-Armed promoted it by supporting Chimaira on their ‘The Age of Hell’ European tour and followed that with twenty shows supporting Suffocation and Origin on their ‘The End of Humanity’ tour before making their debut appearance in the UK at Bloodstock Festival that summer.

In between further touring with the likes of Cryptopsy including UK dates and support slots for Metal titans Arch Enemy and Amorphis, Re-Armed returned to the studio in mid 2013 to record a follow-up album and celebrated its completion with more dates, including a short headlining UK tour in November with rising UK act Wretched Soul in support.

The new album ‘Rottendam’ will be released in the UK on the 14th of April 2014, with the band stating that “This album is both more crushing and more melodic than our debut. We opened some new doors that we haven't tried before. So, there is more brutality but also softer tones."
