Wolfborne - Release debut full length album

Wolfborne release debut album 'In the Beginning' on the 22nd of September!!!

‘In the Beginning...’ is the debut album from Wolfborne. Starting out as an ambitious project to create a record that would redefine Rock music for the current generation, plans were put in place with the aid of renowned Canadian producer Garth Richardson. Pre-production began with the Vancouver based guitarist Lanning Kann (Dodging Daylight), songwriter Ken Goode (Stand Down) and engineer Nick Rowe (formerly of New York based Metal act Bloodsimple) and together they wrote a number of songs that were then sifted through to create a solid and powerful body of work.

The recording sessions themselves took place at the Farm Studios in Vancouver with vocalist Chris Witoski (SPLITtract) and drummer Issah Contractoradded to the line-up. Richardson and engineer Ben Kaplan worked tirelessly with the guys to create a monumental sounding record that was then sent to Josh Wilbur for mixing and Brock McFarlane for mastering. With so many uniquely talented people involved, the album took on a sound that separated itself from everything else and Inspiration was taken from so many genres that the songs have been compared to artists such as Iggy Pop, Soundgarden, Nine inch Nails and David Bowie. However, although the album takes many twists and turns, it is all centred around an intense drum and bass groove. From the fast paced Punk stylings of 'Livin' the Life' to the hard and sexy 'Funky Town' via the infectious and anthemic 'Sex Sells' the first single, this is a record with something for everyone.
