John Scofield debuts his 'Country for old Men' project in London at the Union Chapel. John Scofield's Impulse album 'Country for old Men' is a homage to Country Music and features Jazz renditions of classic tunes by George Jones, Hank Williams, Merle Haggard, Bob Wills, Patti Page and more.
John Scofield is a masterful Jazz improviser whose music falls between Post-Bop and Funk edged Jazz. John Scofield has worked with Charles Mingus, Gary Burton, Miles Davis, Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden, Herbie Hancock, Joe Henderson, Dave Holland amongst many others.
