Blue October - Are currently on their 2019 UK tour

Blue October the Platinum selling Texas based band, have three more shows out of their seven UK dates left to play. On these dates they are happy to be joined by acoustic Indie-Pop favourites CoCo and the Butterfields. Blue October seven city UK stint, went all across the country in support of their recently released ninth studio album ‘I Hope You’re Happy’ (Absolute and Up / Down-Brando Records). In the US the album debuted No.7 on the Billboard album sales chart, whilst the title track peaked at No.14 on the Alternative singles chart. The band toured the UK to a rapturous reception in 2018 with dates including a triumphant London, Shepherd’s Bush o2 Empire and they cannot wait to return to this venue on Saturday February the 23rd.
Known for their shimmering melodies and heart string pulling lyrics, Blue October boasts a powerful line-up of fantastic musicians and one of the most emotionally charged and magnetic front men in music today in Justin Furstenfeld. Blue October are Jeremy Furstenfeld (drums), Matt Noveskey (Bass), Ryan Delahoussaye (Violin, Piano) and Justin Furstenfeld (Guitar, Vocals). CoCo and the Butterfields are Singer / Songwriter Tom Twyman and singer and multi-instrumentalist Dulcima Showan. The pair are known for their exhilarating live shows and their inclusive, acoustic based sound. Along the way they have appeared at Glastonbury, Isle of Wight festivals and Bestival and have supported the likes of Bastille, The Fratellis, Scouting For Girls and Wheatus. With their upbeat sound and boundless energy, CoCo and the Butterfields are a fantastic live act and will support on all seven Blue October UK dates.
‘I hope you’re Happy’ is already being held close to the fans’ hearts both here and in the US and is currently top fifteen in the US Alternative chart, having been on the chart for twenty straight weeks. New Blue October music has found its way into countless Spotify and Apple curated playlists including iTunes Breaking Alternative, Digging Now (685,273 followers), and New Noise (278,635 followers). Blue October are an important act rooted in the honesty and emotional heft of their songs. This is a band that can make you move your feet, for sure, but they have plenty to say about this world we live in too.
