Gutlocker - Announce release of their debut album

"What does it mean to be alive?" We have all faced hardships in life and deal with the troubles that have been thrown at us in our own way.Gutlocker have chosen to wear their hearts on their sleeve and reveal all in their most personal release to date. ‘To be Alive’ is Gutlocker’s first full length album and is the first time we have heard anything new from the band since the release of their four track EP ‘Cry Havoc’ in 2018.

The band chose to record a full length album during the first lockdown in 2020 as they wanted to use their time to write something that's different, bigger and better than anything that has been released previously. The events of the last two years have caused mental health conditions to rise with one in ten people experiencing some form of depression, Gutlocker wants these people to know we see you, we hear you!. With a glimmer of hope and what seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, Gutlocker are armed with a new album and they have set their sights on getting their music heard and are looking to connect with their audience on a more personal level. You are not alone, now is the time 'To be Alive'.
