Witch Fever - One of the hottest bands out there at the moment

The Fever is brewing for this band!!!

Witch Fever **** who are becoming local legends and for whom most of the photographers seemed to have mainly turned up for, but everyone wants to see all the bands because the line-up is so good. They are at a difficult stage at the moment, they have been gigging a fair few years and have utterly nailed their sound and image. They are at their best, but…. they always seem to be the main support for other bands. Always the bridesmaid and never the bride, but with major festival apperances this year.

Hopefully 2023 will be their year, they have worked so hard and really do deserve it. They need to power through this stage, as many bands stagnate here, always seeming to hit a glass ceiling. They have everything they need to breakthrough and place themselves at the forefront of the Alternative Rock scene. They deserve more as they are bloody worth it! (Cheryl Cole once said), they are one of the must see bands of 2022.

I think all three bands on tonights bill are at a changing point in their career. And they all know, they have to deliver the goods. So the fact the venue is buzzing, you know this is going to be their night. They came on to a massive cheer, photographers leaped forward and so they began. The song ‘Fever' has one of my favourite guitar tones that few bands can match, that fuzzy Gretsch and Fender P bass combination - it just screams instant classic. They rocked through all their recent tracks too, with fans singing along to every word (me too).

Witchfever also have the confidence to play slower tracks like 'Congregation', while the bass just booms out around the room, mesmerising us all. Before you know it, their set comes to an end, with just one track left to play 'Reincarnate'. And the place goes fucking nuts. No surprises really, its one of the best guitar riffs of all time. I always come away feeling like it needs a banging Prodigy esq. remix
