Hardy - Brings a heavier side of Country to Rock the South
****1/3
Hardy closes night No.2!!!
(Rock the South - Day 2)
Hardy ****1/3 is an artist everyone wanted to see, and he ended the night in his own special weird way. Hardy originally from Pittsburgh Mississippi, has written songs for Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton, Thomas Rhett, Morgan Wallen and many others.Hardy headed down to rock the south from Nashville, Tennessee taking the stage with many of his songs and a few covers. He actually gave great value for money, playing twenty four songs. Far more than Jelly Roll, who had headlined the night before. And Hardy upstaged Jerry Roll in a way, with a mountain of pyrotechniques. Burning everybody's eye balls out, in his own unhinged way. Yes!!! Hardy is a little crazy, he calls himself a 'Psycho'... but everyone just simply loves it. A song he plays near the end of the night, so hope if you were there you stayed around to hear it live.
Hardy yes! is a modern day 'Rockstar', and he has a song to say that of that name. He can really mix things up. With heavy riffs, to soft ballad songs and even a tast of Limp Bizkit and Creed. These covers go down so well, but hopefully not Woodstock way when people people actually took 'Break Stuff' too literallly. If the heavier stuff is not your bag, Hardy does mix it up. With very Country fun songs like 'Rednecker' and 'Truck Bed', which go down so well with the Rock the South audience.
Hardy is a unique artist, their is no other person like him. He is so unique and wacky, and he knows how to play a stadium type Rock show. Which also works in a festival enviroment, so Rock the South was the perfect place for him to do his things. I have to say he is one of the artist on the bill, I didn't listen to as much. But I will be checking out his material more in future, but maybe I do know more than I think I do. Because Hardy has written for so many people. And I have to say I really enjoyed his singles 'Liar' and 'Psycho' done live, they were two of the highlights of his set. I think you will be hearing a lot more from Hardy in the future, so keep checking back on the Music Trespass Magazine outlets for more content.
