Pathing their way to Wembley!!!

Fozzy **** last year played a show before the AEW wrestling event at the London, Wembley Stadium called 'All-In', and now here they are hear again to perform what is becoming their annual concert. This time called 'All-In - All Night', the event would also include the then AEW champion Swerve Strickland, who lost the title a few days later in the main event to Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan). Swerve who is also a Rapper was joined by fellow Rapper Flash Garments, for a short set on the bill. I have covered the Fozzy warm-up show before, and knew it was going to be a great evening, of well put together Rock / Metal songs. The eight hundred capacity London venue in Islington, is a far cry from the seventy thousand fans the band would be performing too a couple of days later at the London, Stadium. But I am sure the atmosphere was as electric, because their is a lot of energy in the room.

The audience tonight mostly consisted of wrestling fans, wanting to get a glimpse of the Fozzy singer and 2010 WWE - Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee Chris Jericho. And of course the popular Swerve Strickland, who has been making waves in the last few years in the wrestling World. The band come onstage to 'Living next door to Alice' by Smokie, and  break into the popular single 'Spotlight' straight away. To a delighted crowd, that are loving every minute of it. The spotlight is really on Fozzy and it's singer Chris Jericho tonight, so this is a fitting song for the band to open with. Songs like 'Bad Tattoo' and 'Do you wanna start a War', show Fozzy have many strings to their bow.

While 'Lights go Out' is explosive in every way, not to mention 'Relax' an awesome Frankie goes to Hollywood Cover. That has been in their set, the last few times I have seen them. So must be a fan favourite now, or they would have removed it. I really love the rollercoaster of a song, and now already a classic 'Sane'. It's such a great song, and after you listen to it you just want to hear it again and again. But if this is too much for you and you want something a little more mellow, then you have the ballad 'I still Burn' which is a great change in tempo. They bring things back up with 'Nowhere to Run' which has a Mad Max montage on the back screen, do people still like Mad Max in 2000, I know I still do... but have to say not totally sure on the remakes. But I did like the films with the out of vogue Mel Gibson, they were always a Christmas watch with my family.

Nice edition is the requested 'Sandpaper' with it's pre-recorded vocals by M.Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold) and the classic now old 'Enemy', which ends the main set. This was a song I really liked when it was first released, so it is great that they added it to the set. If you go and see Fozzy, you are instore for some participation... so make sure you know the lyrics. I think there was quite a few people making them up as they went along, but I don't think that really mattered... because everyone is there to have fun. And I think a lot of fun was had, I know I was tapping my foot during their set. I do think they could have got someone on to sing M. Shadows part of 'Sandpaper', maybe Darby Allin could have done it. But don't know if he has a singing voice or not, has any of you heard him sing. Let us know if you have, we would like to hear that.

For the encore Fozzy do Chris Jericho's entrance therme song 'Judas' and 'Killing in the Name' the Rage against the Machine song with Swerve Strickland the at the time AEW Champion, he lost the belt a couple of days later to Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) at Wembley Stadium, AEW event 'All-In' as I mentioned earlierI think if 'Killing in the Name' was released in 2024, it would be banned by Kier Starmer with it's chorus 'F**k you I won't do what you tell Me'. I really don't think he would like it, and it would be banned for incitement. So I think the band go out on a limb by risking playing it, I was waiting for the Police to come and arrest Chris Jericho and Swerve Strickland and put them in prison for ten years. Thank God this didn't happen, because they were needed to wrestle at 'All-In'. If you have not seen Fozzy yet, I advise you do... it's always a great night out.
