Chris Tungseth **** is American Idol top five finalist who quickly became a fan favourite all around America. The Minnesota native worked in roofing and construction before a friend secretly signed him up to audition for the show. Throughout his journey, Chris made it known how much he loved his mother, who passed away when he was just ten years old.

He also honoured his late father through music, performing his original song 'Lonely Road' in tribute to him. You can listen to this song at the bottom of this page. It's a beautiful track, so well worth a listen.  At the CMA Fest Kickoff event, Chris debuted his new single, 'Tip your Hat', and shared the stage with Country Music legend Billy Ray Cyrus and Bucky Covington. It is a massive treat for any Country fan to see such names at this special event. 

Billy Ray Cyrus looks so cool sporting a cool black suit, glasses and a beard, which he has had for a few years now. I think Chris Tungseth is learning from having such friends in the music industry, because his performance has grown in stature since American Idol. And you can really see that, because the crowd loves their performance of 'Old town Road' and 'Achy breaky Heart', making it one of the night’s standout moments.
