Skinny Puppy release a new video for 'illisiT' which can be seen here!

A stunning video for the song ‘illisiT’ by the Canadian Electronic / Industrial act Skinny Puppy has premiered this week. Taken from their recently released new album ‘Weapon’, it is directed by Jason Alacrity and can be viewed at the bottom of the page.

Formed in 1984 Skinny Puppy are firmly established as a groundbreaking voice in the World of Electronic music, fearless in both their musical experimentation and in voicing a stance on the issues of our times. ‘Weapon’ is the stunning new album by the band, standing as a commentary on the concurrent glorification of gun culture and simultaneous horror at the devastation that guns can cause.

The video uses imagiary that has been seen different ways on the artwork, but has a very modern decadent feel to it like it could have come out of a movie like Saw or even Hostel. You can see above the mechanical spider like on the cover of 'Weapons' this is really cool and as a life long Skinny Puppy fan I would kill for one of these. Also I am obsessed with spiders so if OhGr wants to send me one of these... I would not be complaining. 

Like the new album 'Weapons', 'illisiT' has a modern futuristic feel to it but the gritty video gives the feel of the apocalypse and the end of the World this video is amazing and one you can't miss watching.

Skinny Puppy have recently announced a thirty date North American tour for early 2014 that commences on 24th January and runs until 5th March.
